Is there a platform fee?

Nope. 100% of your dollar always goes directly to the Impact Partner. Visa/Mastercard do charge a card processing fee that must be covered by donors. We do not take a penny of this, and are constantly working on ways to convince the powers that be to reduce these fees.

Is this tax-deductible?

Yes! Though we currently only provide tax-receipts for plans that donate more than $30/month.

100% of contributions go to the Dollar Donation Club Fund, a wholly owned subsidiary of Legacy Global Foundation Inc, a public 501(c)3 charitable organization. Dollar Donation Club Fund has partnered with Dollar Donation Club to help direct charitable donations from members of the public to fund grants to other charitable organizations.

Where does the money go?

All donations go directly into a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity called the Dollar Donation Club Fund. These funds are then distributed to the recipients of crowdfunding campaigns operated by Dollar Donation Club.

We’ve built a world-class vetting team and partners to help us identify the highest leverage solutions to our gnarliest social impact challenges. All Dollar Donation Club campaigns partner with organizations capable of making measurable and verifiable progress toward checking off goals on Humanity’s Checklist.
